Summer Styles |
|
The climate generally is warmer. Activities are often outdoors, and the preferred lifestyle is casual. Here are some of our favorites that suit the Summer scene. Enjoy! |
Lillet, pronounced Lee-Lay, is a fortified wine created in
Bordeaux in 1872 from a blend of wine, liqueurs, fruits and herbs. With its refreshing bitterness, either shade of Lillet is easily served on ice with a splash of club soda and a slice of orange, but also is the base of many exotic cocktails.
Blanc, based on sauvignon blanc and semillon grapes, offers notes of honey and orange and a hint of mint. Rouge, from merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes, carries a powerful palate of red berries, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and fresh herbs. Blanc or Rouge $17.99

SPARKLING WINE |
is the best start to any gathering, and our recommendations are priced for opening anytime. The bubbles, well-stoppered, will last a couple of days, in case you just want a glass before dinner.

LIVELY WHITE |
will engage your senses with fresh, ripe fruit flavors. Keep the bottle cold, yet with 2 minutes in your glass, the aromas are forthcoming.

RED WINE |
In summer we look to reds that can be served cool, non-tannic( particularly for spicy foods), yet full-flavored to match up to all the grilling we enjoy. |
