We are offering a single 1-pint bottle of rum that is extremely rare. This bottle was distilled in Massachusetts in 1917. It was aged and bottled in Kentuckey in 1929 for what can only be assumed to be the Prohibition Era "medicinal" market. There is a State of Illinois Tax stamp dated 1935 that is intact on the shoulder of the bottle.

The capsule, label and tax stamps are all in good condition (please see images) and the fill is mid-shoulder (please see image).
This particular bottle has been in our cellar since it's release in 1935 so the provenance is known and assured.
