This herbed salt recalls the old popular tradition of blending sea salt with fresh herbs typical of Italy’s Veneto region. It is produced from sea salt and fresh herb, rosemary and sage, grown on the Marlunghe estate and blended with fresh with sea salt rather than dried. The aromatic quality of the wild grown herbs is thus preserved.
Marlunghe herbed sea salt can be used just as you would regular salt in cooking. It is perfect for any type of grilled, broiled, boiled or roasted meats, fish or poultry. Wonderful on potatoes and in vegetable soups, it lends true Mediterranean character to your cooking.
Ingredients: Sea salt, fresh rosemary, fresh garlic, fresh sage, and black pepper.
