From the distillery that (occasionally) brings us Van Winkle and Weller, Eagle Rare 10 Years Old Bourbon is probably the best value out there that is available. I used to serve Van Winkle 12 Year as my "house" bourbon. Those days are long gone. I moved on to Weller 12 Year and served it to the delight of my guests for years. Now the general public has caught on and Weller 12 Year is at a shortage. I have moved onto the Eagle Rare 10 year because it is a great bourbon, fantastic value and my guests, while they still pine for the days when Van Winkle flowed freely, are still enjoying a special treat.
